This page is the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) for rizzed. It covers the website, API, and the iOS/Android apps, including auto-renewable Plus and Premium subscriptions sold on the App Store. The same document is at /terms.

These Terms of Use are the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) for getrizzed.app, the API, and the iOS/Android apps (together, “rizzed”). They are published at https://getrizzed.app/eula and https://getrizzed.app/terms. By creating an account or tapping Continue you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use rizzed.

rizzed is a dating product for verified adults. It is not a guarantee of a date, a match, or anyone’s character. You meet people at your own risk.

1. Eligibility — 18+ non-negotiable

You must be at least 18. There is no teen mode, no “almost 18”, no parent account.
You must complete age assurance before anyone else can see you. Didit, our age-assurance provider, estimates age from a selfie and checks liveness. Estimated 25+ may pass on that check; 18–24 may also need a government ID plus a face match. Identity documents and biometric captures are processed by Didit. See the Privacy Policy.
Lying about age is an immediate ban. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC and cooperate with law enforcement.
If we believe you are under 18, we terminate without a warning and without the ordinary appeal window used for other bans.

2. The account is yours, and only yours

One person, one account. No catfish, no celebrity impersonation, no “managing for a friend”.
Photos and video must be of you. Stock, AI faces passed off as you, and someone else’s nudes are fake-profile or sexual-content violations.
You are responsible for devices and codes. We may require Play Integrity or App Attest. We can refuse rooted/jailbroken or attestation-failing clients.

3. Consent is how the product works

Chat unlocks when both people like (or you accept an intro). Do not try to bypass that.
Intros are capped. Messaging a match is free and unlimited; that does not license harassment.
Unsend exists for a short window (five minutes in product config). Unsend is not a way to hide abuse we already logged.

4. No end-to-end encryption — we read content

Chats are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Human reviewers and automated systems (including OpenAI moderation and a dating-risk classifier) read messages, photos, video frames, and voice. You consent to that screening. If you want a private channel we cannot see, this is the wrong app.

5. Strict conduct rules

Zero tolerance. We may warn, hide, strike, suspend, or permanently ban — including on a first offence — for:

Underage. Stating or implying you or another person is under 18; requesting or sharing sexual content involving minors. Immediate ban and report.
Hate and slurs. Racial, homophobic, transphobic, and other slurs are blocked in chat. Hate speech is a ban.
Harassment, threats, bullying — including after unmatch or in intros.
Scams and money. Asking for cash, crypto, gift cards, wire, “investment”, or payment apps. Romance-scam patterns. We never ask you to pay another user.
Spam and commercial sex work. Selling access, escorting, or paid sexual services on rizzed.
Off-platform bait. Pushing WhatsApp, Telegram, Snapchat, Signal, Kik, phone numbers, or “text me” in early chat. Filters warn or block those patterns. After a match you may exchange details; we still act if it looks like a scam.
Non-consensual sexual content. Unsolicited nudes or sexual images of others.
Fake profiles, spam, and evasion — including ban evasion and automation.
Anything illegal where you are, or in England and Wales (our reference law).

In-app reports: harassment, hate, spam, scam, underage, fake profile, sexual content, threats, off-platform, other. We can act without a user report.

6. Moderation is not a debate club

Automated filters can block or attach a warning before a message is delivered.
Photos, video, and voice stay pending until they clear review. Rejected media does not go live.
We do not have to show you the model’s scores or the exact rule that fired.
We may rate-limit, shadow-restrict, or require ID again if risk scores spike.
Safety Center, block, and report are part of the product. Circumventing a block is a ban.

7. Enforcement

We may delete content, unsuspend nothing, and ban immediately for serious harm (underage, CSAM, threats, scams).
For other violations we may use warnings and strikes before a ban. We do not owe you a ladder of chances.
Banned users lose likes, matches, and remaining entitlements. No refund for a ban you caused.
Appeals: use in-app Appeals or email [email protected]. We will look once. Repeat-appeal spam can be ignored. Underage and CSAM decisions are not “let me explain” cases.

8. Who helps us run rizzed

The full list, including what each company receives, is in the Privacy Policy. In short:

Railway hosts the website, API, database (Postgres and Redis), and the private media bucket.
Cloudflare protects the site (DNS, TLS, firewall) and receives incoming mail to @getrizzed.app.
SMTP2GO sends all outgoing email (sign-in codes and enforcement notices). Telnyx sends SMS and WhatsApp one-time codes.
Didit runs age assurance (liveness, age estimate, and ID + face match when needed).
Google and Google Cloud Products cover Sign in with Google, fonts, Play billing, Android push, Firebase Analytics on Android, and optional Play Integrity / Content Safety. Google Analytics measures website page views. Apple covers Sign in with Apple, iPhone push, App Attest, and App Store billing.
Expo builds the iOS and Android apps. OpenAI screens content. Sentry receives crash reports. Stripe bills Plus / Premium on the website.
NCMEC receives mandatory reports of apparent child sexual abuse material.

9. Paid features and auto-renewable subscriptions

Discovery and chatting with matches stay available on the free tier, subject to daily like/intro caps. Plus and Premium are optional paid memberships. They do not unlock chat with a match.

Plus (auto-renewable, 1 month) — unlimited likes, five slides a day, who liked you, rewind, read receipts, one boost a month.

Premium (auto-renewable, 1 month) — everything in Plus, plus unlimited slides, incognito, passport, four boosts a month, and AI features.

Prices are shown in the app and on the store listing for your country. Web billing is Stripe. iOS billing is Apple In-App Purchase (products RIZZED.PLUS and RIZZED.PREMIUM). Android billing is Google Play.

If you subscribe on iPhone, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial, if we offer one, is forfeited when you buy. App Store refunds follow Apple’s rules.

If you subscribe on Android, manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Play refunds follow Google’s rules. Web subscriptions cancel through the Stripe billing flow you used on getrizzed.app.

These Terms of Use are the EULA for rizzed. The Privacy Policy is at https://getrizzed.app/privacy. App Store purchases are also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. We can change prices and caps with notice in the app.

10. Your licence to us; our licence to you

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a worldwide licence to host, moderate, transcode, and display it to operate rizzed. You grant other users a licence to view it in the product. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps. You may not scrape, reverse engineer except as the law allows, or resell access.

11. Safety in the real world

We are not your bodyguard. Meet in public, tell a friend, do not send money. rizzed is not liable for what another user does after you leave the app. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services (UK: 999).

12. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime, perfect moderation, or that any profile is truthful. To the maximum extent permitted by English law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for dates that go badly. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Our aggregate liability for a claim is capped at the greater of £50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Suspension of the service

We may change, throttle, or shut down rizzed. If we discontinue the consumer product we will attempt to honour deletion requests. We may keep data required for legal holds and CSAM reporting.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere. If a court strikes a clause, the rest stays.

15. Changes

We can update these Terms. The Effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update is acceptance. If you do not accept, delete your account.
